In the town of Tequila, in western Mexico, there is a small, low-key bar called La Capilla, home of the Batanga, a simple drink created in the 1950s by Don Javier Delgado Corona, the bar owner. Batanga is simple: tequila, Coca-Cola, and fresh lime juice, served in a tall glass with a salted rim. But as Don Javier would say, its flavor is not just about the ingredients—it’s the large knife used to mix the cocktail that’s the secret to the perfect Batanga.

100% agave tequila with a fresh and vibrant character. This Reposado begins with a prominent vanilla note on the palate, followed by subtle hints of almond, citrus, sweet caramel, and cedar wood. Despite its aging, the agave remains present, making it ideal for cocktails. Its finish is pleasantly dry when sipped neat, providing a refined and satisfying experience.
